When you call my Berkeley law office, I personally answer the phone. The personal contact and attention I can pay to my clients is one of the aspects of my legal work that I truly enjoy. The legal system, and lawyers in particular, can be intimidating. Even though I carry the legal know-how and skills of an attorney with over 30 years of successful experience, my goal is to put you at ease and reassure you as I work to resolve your legal issues.
As your attorney, I will work with you in partnership, listening to your concerns about your California divorce and family law matter and answering your questions clearly. I know how confusing and intimidating the law can be, especially if you are facing legal challenges for the first time. As your attorney, I will take the time to help you understand the judicial process, making sure you are aware of your options and are kept informed about the progress of your case.
In order to be successful, a lawyer should be a problem solver and a good listener. I am both. I enjoy talking to people, hearing their concerns and coming up with solutions that will allow them to move on with their lives and not look back.
A lawyer should also be smart and engaging in order to communicate complex ideas in a way that people can understand. In addition, a lawyer needs to be able to anticipate the future to protect the rights of his or her clients. I do all this and more for my clients.
Foresees Problems and Anticipates Solutions
My legal education, including my role as editor-in-chief of the law review and graduating with top honors, along with my experience and training, help me foresee problems and craft proactive solutions for my clients. As the son of a lawyer, I grew up with roundtable discussions each mealtime, and learned early how to craft and present a winning argument. I bring both my legal and life experiences to every case that I handle, and I have in-depth knowledge of the local court system.
I accept major credit cards, and my office is conveniently located in a beautiful Victorian office just a few blocks from the U.C. Berkeley campus (straight shot from I-80). I also offer notary public service.
